I'd say maybe 5 were barely close enough to call "stunning"....the rest AWFUL! Guess Glamour needs a new

bridal consultant. Plus almost all the "brides" looked depressed. A wedding gown shouldn't even be modeled if

the model isn't going to look happy in it. Bad for sales!!!

I wasnt expecting jaw dropping dressing - yes my jaw dropped - in disappointment. I saw two dresses I thought were nice other than that - most were plain ordinary - did nothing to bring on the excitement of matrimony.

I agree that these are jaw dropping - because they were so ugly! I can understand why some of the models weren't smiling. I think I have even seen a few of them on the bridal shows on tv. The only positive thing I can say is that at least a few of them have sleeves, or at least shoulder straps, not just bolero jackets. On the tv shows, when a bride asks for a traditional, old fashioned gown, they bring her strapless. None of our relatives (mothers, aunts, grandmotherss, great-grandgrandmothers) wore strapless gowns when they got married. The pictures from the 40's and 50's might have had illusion necklines where the gowns looked low-cut, but actually had lace or netting.

Good Lord...the only reason my jaw dropped is after seeing the price of these ugly dresses. I could get the same look out of a goodwill store for a lot less! I wouldn't even want guest to show up in anything like this....I don't even want to know the price on any of the dresses that read "price upon request", forget that! There were maybe two dresses that were merely DECENT...but nothing more. Disappointing.

Some were beautiful, some were awkward looking, some were ridiculous. I love the look of gowns that are too long...but how on earth does the bride walk without tripping over the bottom of the dress constantly? I sure couldn't do it. Great if she can stand still all day, not so great otherwise. I don't like plunging necklines on wedding gowns. I believe if there is one day of her life that she at least gives the illusion of "innocence," it should be a woman's wedding day. I know I'm old-fashioned, but there is something to be said for tradition...although I'd hate for us to go back in time to the cumbersome bodices where the bride is covered from neck to ankle, with long puffy sleeves. One thing I will say for today's gowns...the choices are endless and that is a big positive.

OM Goodness what horrible dresses. The only two I might give a small honorable mention on would be Highland Park or David. These were just the worse lineup of wedding dresses ever. I can see last seasons being back in production so the new ones can be avoided. I would not wear half of these to slop the hogs if I had some to feed.
