We love a good mascara. Any product that gives us the ability to entrance anyone in our path with one swift bat of our long, luscious lashes is a product made in heaven.

But the black goop under our eyes, the black running down our faces during a crying breakdown/allergy attack/hilarious laughing fit and the staining of eye makeup on all of our white towels — well, we could do without all of that.

Just in time for spring/summer travel.

I consider myself an excellent packer, yet when it comes to beauty products, I somehow always fail. I bring too much or too little makeup, I forget my round brush and/or face wash (always one of those two), a blush shatters or body lotion spills, I decant way too little conditioner into a stupid little travel bottle and then have to run to a drugstore and buy more.

Recently I've come across a few truly brilliant tips on Pinterest for traveling with beauty products, though, and they've inspired me to change my ways (just in time for spring/summer travel).

1. Pack a solid conditioner. I go through so much of the liquid stuff, it's hard to bring minis. This is a perfect no-spill solution. I've read great things about Lush Jungle Conditioner, and I am going to test it ASAP and report back.

You've also probably been wondering what can be done to prevent tragedies like this from happening again.

Today, both H&M and Inditex, owner of Zara, announced that they will sign a legally binding safety agreement to ensure conditions in Bangladesh factories are safe for workers.

It’s not common that we see party girl Pippa Middleton in an eye-popping pattern like the Alice by Temperley ikat-printed pants she wore to a club in London last week.
