You guys, I have no explanation for this, but I have been so excited about the Skaist-Taylor label launch for ages—and now it's happened! So the deal is that Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor (a.k.a. the design duo formerly known as The Juicies—yes! They founded Juicy Couture!) sold Juicy to Liz Claiborne years ago and have since gone on to create this totally new boho-rock-chick new label. Check out some of their new looks after the jump.

You guys remember the fake “Derelicte” campaign from Zoolander, right? The whole concept was about making, uh, derelict and dirty people/things/clothes look chic. Spoiler: It didn’t. However, the “dirt effect” nails at Pamela Love’s fall 2012 presentation were as stylish (and copy-able!) as can be.

I’ve definitely been eyeing all of the new trends making their debut during New York Fashion Week, but in addition to the fall fabrics and chic designs, I’ve also been coveting the models’ hairstyles.

From messy ponytails to edgy alien-like bouffants, there’s been a little bit of everything. However, I especially loved the thick, gorgeous braids happening over at the Betsey Johnson show.
