Glamour gives 28-Year-Old Christina Gibson a hot new makeover.

Finally over a breakup, Cristina Gibson needed a new look she loved. Celeb stylist Mark Townsend took her shorter, blonder, better.

Before

Like so many women before her, Cristina Gibson, 28, longed for a big change after her relationship ended. “I wanted something more sophisticated,” she says. Dove stylist Mark Townsend felt all that length elongated her face, so he cut eight inches and gave her sideswept bangs (styled with just a scrunch of Dove Style+Care Nourishing Amplifier mousse, $4, drugstore.com).

In the meantime, Nikki Ferrara of Sally Hershberger Downtown in New York City brightened her color with highlights. Makeup pro Susan Giordano played up Gibson’s hazel eyes with mauve and deep-plum shadows.

The result? When Gibson Facebooked a photo of her makeover, even her ex “liked” it. “I was like, Ha! See? It does look good!”

I received a reply to my coment. And the answer is no, I am not into any hair fetish, I just think she would have looked better keeping her longer hair, but styled a different way.  I don't like women in short hair.  I don't think it is sexy or would attract me.  I think Anne Hathaway should grow her hair long again. She was much more attractive that way, and by the way, put on some underwear if you have a problem with the press taking pictures of you.

Honestly...
She looks better in the "before" photo.
Obviously, she is attractive either way, but the makeover just makes her look like a generic lady with no personality

I do think she does look abulous with the new hairdo and makeup, but, like Scrooge, it sort of makes me hesitant to ask her out figuring she is now out of my league

Anyone else having trouble posting to msn?  I think they do it on purpose in response to posts they don't like. Edit:  I'm amazed this posted.  I've been trying to post comments for days.  I haven't had trouble with any other sites.

8 wardrobe staples to buy now that will only get better with age

Three summers ago, I bought a pair of soft, white-calfskin Chanel loafers. I spent months trying to keep them pristine, but it wasn’t long before a July thunderstorm left them and me soaked. I began steeling myself for what I thought was inevitable: a solemn drop in the trash. But once the loafers dried, I found the shoes’ stained stitching—now storm-cloud gray—was lovely and a few new wrinkles in the leather were charming, like smile lines for shoes. I started to wear them freely—taking on puddles and tossing them onto the sand at the beach—and before long, they transformed. The roughened toe-tops reminded me of a welcoming, worn armchair, and a wet-and-hot summer had molded the material perfectly to my feet.
