Company apologizes for offensive 'Keep Calm and Rape' tees
Amazon removes T-shirts from website, and T-shirt company issues apology statement.

A clothing company is in hot water after selling a line of T-shirts containing offensive phrases such as ‘Keep Calm And Rape A Lot’ stamped on the front.
Vendor Solid Gold Bomb is behind the line of tees, designed to play off the World War ll phrase “Keep Calm and Carry On.” But these tees included phrases like "Keep Calm and Rape a Lot" and "Keep Calm and Hit Her."
After receiving a large amount of complaints regarding the controversial T-shirts, Amazon removed the tees from its website, prompting the company to issue an apology statement to those who were offended.

"No words can express how I feel about what has occurred and in no way do I condone or promote this serious issue,” said Michael Fowler, the founder of Solid Gold Bomb on the company website. “I will offer a more in depth explanation of cause to explain ... how this occurred. Both myself and our company and its associated Solid Gold Bomb brand have never had any intention [to] spread violent slogans or even poor-taste humor T-shirts. This was a computer error of my creation, and I accept my responsibility in the matter."
