Should babies be wearing perfume?

Well just in case you know one who doesn't, Dolce & Gabbana comes to the rescue. The fashion label has announced the launch of its own line of perfume created specifically for babies, piggy-backing off that sweet smell of the infant that is some sort of magical combination of baby powder and innocence.

According to the Daily Mail, Stefano Gabbana says the new perfume is inspired by the smell of a baby and is “designed to cuddle and pamper every little boy and girl.”

But D&G isn’t the first company to bottle the sweet smell of babies—other high-end labels, including Burberry and Bvlgari, have also come up with their own scent for infants.

Good grief!  Let's get them started on allergies as soon as possible!  Stupid idea for really stupid parents thinking only of themselves.

Just when you think you've already heard the stupidest idea ever, something like this comes along.

Are you kidding me?  I have an extreme allergy to fragrance and go into horrendous asthma attacks.  What if your baby is allergic?  Besides, there is nothing better than the smell of the top of a baby's head.  Poor babies who have mommies that think this is necessary.

The people who buy this for their infants should be made to give up all their money

for at least a month and be made to actually work hard for a living during that month.

This will go great for our baby while he's wearing his $30,000 Armani suit.  It's a shame he'll grow out of it by the times he's 11 months old, but it's well worth it!

Couldn’t they say “banana?” Or is that somehow more offensive than “apple” and “pear” shapes?)
