Men Who Wear Purple Have a Better Chance at a Date, New Study Finds
Men who wear purple are more likely to score a date, according to a new study. British laundry detergent brand My Ariel recently polled 2,000 British men and women to determine if wearing the right clothing could up your chances in the dating world.
The results? Clothes matter (not shockingly), but one color was more popular than the rest. The study found that guys who choose purple are more likely to be desired by British women. Thirty-six percent of women responded positively to a guy wearing a purple shirt, meaning they would be more inclined to accept a date from him.
The study also found that 58 percent of those being surveyed considered what you wear to be one of the most important factors of finding a mate, and a whopping 43 percent of those surveyed said they’ve made their partner change clothes in the past because they were embarrassed about what they were wearing.
