Latest trend for guys: Man tights

'Meggings' are 'taking the world by storm.'

According to an article written by the Business Insider, men’s leggings are no longer just reserved for ballet dancers and male models —they are now common among all trendsetting gents.

"'Megging,' as the male legging is known, is now all the rage in sartorial circles,” quotes the Insider. "Celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Russell Brand and Lenny Kravitz have all been spotted wearing leggings, while fashion stores Uniqlo, Barneys and Nordstrom are selling tights for men."

Apparently, the megging is creeping its way into fashionable men’s closets everywhere, serving as a replacement for the popular skinny jean trend that has become more common among males in the past few years.

"Male tights are so much more comfortable than skinny jeans," megging-wearer Mark Dorosz told the Insider. "I've always had good legs and it’s nice to show them off all year round. There are so many people wearing exotic clothes in New York that nobody cares about a man wearing leggings if it works for him."

And so far, Dorosz says the feedback has been nothing but positive. "Perhaps people will be laughing around this in 12 months’ time, but for now they come up to me and say, 'You look awesome.'"

I have been wearing leggings for a few years and find them very comfortable and warm. Recently I have noticed more and more women wearing them which tells me that they are comfortable . I have decided to wear them out and have found most people don't care what you are wearing these days . I would like to  see more men wearing them out instead of hiding at home .

I'm Straight and I wear tights... I find them comfortable...but to call someone a "little bitch boy" for wearing tights or leggings is just plain ignorant. All it comes down to is the fact that it's different and that is what makes people uncomfortable. Also who the hell actually cares what someone is wearing, clothes do not define a person, actions do. But if someone got in my face because I happen to have a pair of tights on under my shorts I will laugh at them.

Pretty gross--they all look gay, which is fine--but they are not attractive to someone interested in a heterosexual exchange on any level.  (Translation: "ew")

I think it’s about time that men get to wear some leggings, I’ve got a great back side and crotch bulge and don’t mind showing them off once in a while.
