First Look: Brad Pitt's New Chanel No. 5 Commercial
Brad Pitt's first commercial as the new face of Chanel No. 5 is finally here. Is it sexy or sort of strange?
by Amy Wicks, Glamour MagazineIt went live as the clock struck midnight in Paris.
In the black-and-white 30-second spot, he's looking straight into the camera, delivering lines that seem more fitting spoken to fiancée Angelina Jolie than to a bottle of perfume.

He recites his lines slowly. "My luck, my fate, my fortune," he says. "Chanel No. 5. Inevitable." It's definitely a different look for the brand. In the past, we've seen Nicole Kidman and Vanessa Paradis in ads.

Brad Pitt since he has been with Anjolena looks nasty---he does not do anything with his hair and I hate the beard thing the men think is sexy!! It really sucks on most men. The only man that is groomed well with a beard is SEAN Connery!!!!!!!!!!!! The rest forget it---does not do anything for them but their ego. I do not like his commerical for the channel #5---won't make me buy it and I love it.

What about the women who don’t resemble fruit? (Or aren’t boy-shaped—the third “one of these things is not like the other” category I’ve never quite understood. Couldn’t they say “banana?” Or is that somehow more offensive than “apple” and “pear” shapes?)
