First Look: Brad Pitt's New Chanel No. 5 Commercial

Brad Pitt's first commercial as the new face of Chanel No. 5 is finally here. Is it sexy or sort of strange?

It went live as the clock struck midnight in Paris.

In the black-and-white 30-second spot, he's looking straight into the camera, delivering lines that seem more fitting spoken to fiancée Angelina Jolie than to a bottle of perfume.

"It’s not a journey, every journey ends and we go on," Pitt says, casually dressed, his hands in his pockets, staring at the camera. "Wherever I go, there you are."

He recites his lines slowly. "My luck, my fate, my fortune," he says. "Chanel No. 5. Inevitable." It's definitely a different look for the brand. In the past, we've seen Nicole Kidman and Vanessa Paradis in ads.

His handsomeness was GONE LONG TIME AGO........he looked dirty.  The older he gets his looked is somewhat dissappering.  Unlike George Clooney even Tom Cruise they maintained their look.  It seemed like he does not care.  OH WELL.....

I think he looks unkempt and the lines he deilvers are silly and make him the object of jokes.  Recently on the Halloween episode of Fashion Police, George Katsiopolis was Brad Pitt and it was hilarious!!

Brad Pitt since he has been with  Anjolena looks nasty---he does not do anything with his hair and I hate the beard thing the men think is sexy!!   It really sucks on most men.   The only man that is groomed well with a beard is SEAN Connery!!!!!!!!!!!!   The rest forget it---does not do anything for them but their ego.   I do not like his commerical for the channel #5---won't make me buy it and I love it.

He looks dirty and disgusting.  If they want a sexy man, how about  Gabriel Macht from "Suits"...now he's a class act!

8 wardrobe staples to buy now that will only get better with age

Three summers ago, I bought a pair of soft, white-calfskin Chanel loafers. I spent months trying to keep them pristine, but it wasn’t long before a July thunderstorm left them and me soaked. I began steeling myself for what I thought was inevitable: a solemn drop in the trash. But once the loafers dried, I found the shoes’ stained stitching—now storm-cloud gray—was lovely and a few new wrinkles in the leather were charming, like smile lines for shoes. I started to wear them freely—taking on puddles and tossing them onto the sand at the beach—and before long, they transformed. The roughened toe-tops reminded me of a welcoming, worn armchair, and a wet-and-hot summer had molded the material perfectly to my feet.
