Found It! Michelle Obama's Gray Nail Polish

By Rebecca Pattee at MSN Living Sep 6, 2012 12:06AM

After Tuesday night's Democratic National Convention speech, first lady Michelle Obama set Twitter on fire with her lavender/gray nails, with people trying to guess which shade and brand she was wearing. Michelle Obama's nails were like an accessory to her simple Tracy Reese/J. Crew ensemble.

A Wall Street Journal reporter has confirmed that the nail polish is Artistic Colour Gloss Soak Off Color Gel in "Vogue." Artistic Nail Design's U.S. headquarters has been flooded with requests from salons interested in stocking this color. They told Yahoo Shine, "we've seen a 90% increase in calls for this color alone. We currently have around 1,000 bottles in stock and will be getting stock up to at least 5,000 to prepare for the influx of order that we are receiving."

Michelle Obama was sparkling from the top of her head, to the tip of her toes. Oh by the way, she has a heart of gold and a brilliant mind as well.  The comment made comparing her to a horse was the voice of a bigot  who is out of step with the majority of Americans. There is no, one standard of beauty. Many former First Ladies have paled in comparison, (No pun intended) but none have been under attack as viciously as this First Lady.  Let's call  it what is- ignorance and racism !. An insidiously shallow  affront to American ideals.
I am a democrat, but  was equally offended when a friend of mine said that Mitt Romney's wife looked like a cat.  How pet-ty !  Sorry that when it came to education...you got left behind.

1st:  Her dress, hair, make-up and nails looked smashing.

2nd: Her speech was outstanding.

3rd:  I just cannot understand why folks in this country like to blame the Obama Administration for the mess we are in. People really have short memories!! It was the Republican/Bush polices that got us in this mess in the 1st place!  Pres. Obama didn't do it!  His administration has been trying to DIG us out of two wars and the worse economic downturn that was close to a depression!! You blame him!  Really!  Get a grip! No president would have been able to turn this country around when the prior Republican Administration let the economy go for an all out free fall downward.  But being that the prior President was on vacation for 5yrs out of the 8yrs he was in office, no wonder.

4th:  Pres. Obama didn't cause the debt problem; he inherited it along with the other messes he has tried to clean up!!

For all you commenters shocked by the fact that the writer commented on the fashion of the FLOTUS....This is the "STYLE and BEAUTY" section of MSN...(I'm just saying:-)  YOU CLICKED on the top clearly titled that this was going to be a conversation about the First Ladies fashion choices.  And YE OLD JUDGMENTAL HYPOCRITES....even during our darkest days, like during WW I and II a women still found a way to feel pretty.  Remember nylons, lipstick and the pinup girl.  Things aren't nearly as bad as those times!  Just a suggestion...Lighten UP!  Both Mrs. Romney and Mrs. Obama sparkled! and gave heart felt speeches about their families!

DID everyone missed the point????All we are talking about here is her choice in nail color...nothing else.  No wonder there is so much miscommunication, strife, hate and worse......people "lame place blame" on issues regarding their persona....not what is being discussed here.

Honestly, I was too busy loving her speech to notice her nails. I did however notice the incredible condition of her arms. I went back after reading the article and looked at her nails. Nice color, but still not my focus. Looks don't mean a thing. I love her actions.

I'm more of a french manicure type person, but she was very impressive in dress and action.  The best  part of the entire convention was listening to two women talking about husbands, children and grandchildren.  I believe them to be very sincere and very well spoken.  Both these women came from two different generations and both were impressive.  People should not use these sights to air their political views.   We are talking about nail polish, not politics.  Amazing how many spitefull people there are in America.  Doesn't say much for Americans.
