Apparently, both Nicole Richie and Anne Hathaway think blond or at least light hair when they think punk — they both showed up at Monday's punk-themed Met Gala with freshly bleached hair.

Nicole went for an off-color shade (created by Luke Chamberlain) that might actually qualify as gray:Photo: Nicole Richie // Getty Images
And Anne opted for a cool platinum:Photo: Anne Hathaway // Getty ImagesNow, I'm assuming Nicole's is a one-night-only thing, but Anne's? Anne's might be here to stay. And you know what? I LOVE IT ON HER. I would never have thought Anne Hathaway would look so great as a blond, but that girl is WORKING IT.

What do you guys think about these ladies? Nicole's is on-message for the event, no? And do you want Anne to keep hers light? Discuss.

Question: Is there a highly sophisticated in depth video interview regarding Nicole Richie's opinions about art?.....NOT!!!  You can take bimbo out of the blonde hair but you can't take the blonde hair out of the bimbo!

I love Anne's platinum blond. I'm not so sure about Nicole Richie...I don't hate it but I'm not sure gray is what I'd pick...maybe because mine is going gray without an assist by a hairdresser! lol
