Is this the most craziest hairstyle ever?

Or the cutest? The Reindeer Bun is all the rage this holiday season.

Some of us are all too familiar with the crazy relative who shows up to the family holiday party wearing a Christmas tree sweater and battery-operated flashing lightbulb earrings. But this year, we’re seeing a new way to take your thematic holiday getup to new heights--by fashioning your hair into a festive holiday bun. Introducing the reindeer sock bun, an updo that looks quite a lot like Rudolph himself.

More from Living: Holiday nail art

To pull off this bad boy, you’ll need a sock or a bun mold and some “optional” additional accessories (reindeer barrettes, anyone?). Sure, this is cute for kids and all, but if we see our coworkers sporting this look at our holiday party, we may have to call the Fashion Police. Now, for those of us who have an ugly Christmas sweater party coming up, this is just plain perfect.

Nah, It's fun.  though I'd limit what times of the year I wore it lest others think I'm a mental patient.

LOL I think it's cute! I wouldn't wear it for a formal occasion, but I'd definitely wear it to a holiday party, or even a casual day at work. I'm a professor; we're expected to be a little bit off-beat!

debgal, You really can't say that about the beehive and make up if you didn't  live thru that era. Standing in the mirror, teasing the crap out of your hair and using a can of hair spray to make sure it stays that way. Rite of passage man.

Couldn’t they say “banana?” Or is that somehow more offensive than “apple” and “pear” shapes?)
