Kate Middleton rocks a $29 dress

Get her look for cheap from ASOS.

Photo: Kate Middleton // Paul Grover/Rex Features; Courtesy of Asos No matter what she wears — whether it be a recycled dress from a previous event or a high-end designer gown, Kate Middleton seems to do no wrong when it comes to style. And she continues to make waves with her ability to be a fashion babe on a budget, despite the fact that she is, after all, a duchess. Photo: Kate Middleton // Paul Grover/Rex Features; Courtesy of Asos

So it comes as no surprise that Kate has made another round of public appearances in a getup that the rest of the world can actually copy — because it only costs $29.

According to the Daily Mail, the super stylish Duchess of Cambridge chose this navy knee-length dress from retailer ASOS for a shopping trip on London. She paired the dress (which is currently on sale) with cute wedges and a cardigan sweater while she perused a shop for nursery items.

Good for her.  The economy isn't exactly what it once was"anyplace". So I'm guessing she may be smiled upon by the royal subjects for being"just a wee bit thrifty".

I think its wonderful.  This young woman is showing people in her country that she is a reasonable individual, down to earth, with a lot of common sense.  She's not in the peer pressure mode that most people are involved with and she chooses her own style and clothes which can be beautiful and not expensive.  I hope she continues with this as it will benefit her people in her country.  Plus the men will love it.  Women do pay too much for their clothes while usually our husbands wear the same clothes year after year.  They actually wait for their clothes to wear out while women seem to buy, buy, buy.  This lady is helping women to understand that they don't  have to spend a fortune on clothes and that they can be recycled.  Her people in England should be very proud of this young lady.

How awesome. I just wish our first lady knew how to do something besides blow money by the millions. The princess is a far better example of what a real leaders wife should be and how they should act. She knows times are hard all around and rather than flaunt her wealth she acts like the rest of us. I vote we have the prince and princess in the white house instead of the Oboomers!

This is dumb. Do people really care about this?

At least she's not afraid of being a frugal shopper.

Why I'm not quite sure if this article has made me poo my $10 pants or puke all over my $5 t-shirt.  Or, if the people commenting in love with the billion dollar princess are making me continue to do the same... hmmmm....
