Wrangler launches moisturizing jeans

They supposedly moisturize and prevent cellulite.

According to British Vogue, popular jean company Wrangler is releasing its first pair of moisturizing jeans via its new Denim Spa jeans line, which includes a skinny-fit jean that is pumped up with ingredients that help fight against the “dehydrating effects” of regular denim.

The jeans come in three finishes -- Aloe Vera, Olive Extract and Smooth Legs, which not only adds moisture to legs, but also helps fight cellulite using ingredients like apricot kernel oil and shea butter. The special formula stays intact in your pair of pants for up to 95 wears, at which point you can buy a “reload spray” to add moisture back in.

Ahh, multitasking fashion at it’s finest.

This sounds like something a 19th century snake oil salesman would sell.  Not sure I buy this at all and why doesn't the stuff wash out in the first wash?

Does the denim feel strange when you touch it?  Does it leave residue behind when you sit, or discolor the furniture you sit on?  And, like someone else asked - how would you wash them?

As far as helping to fight cellulite - you know what really helps with that?  Avoiding that turn into the fast food restaurant, and just eating at home.  ;)

Ok, this reminds me of the Jerry Curl cream scene in the film Coming to America with Eddie Murphy, the cool guys sits down on a couch leaving a heavy stain after the character gets up.  Will the oil attract dust and dirt? and what happens to your other clothes when you wash them? what keeps the oil from washing out?
