The surprising nail polish color of the moment
(Not so) mellow yellow!
by Beth Shapouri
You know what nail polish color is enjoying a moment in the sun? Yellow, and it's got a lot to do with the fact that Beyoncé decided to wear it for her recent video shoot in Coney Island.
Model-actress K.D. Aubert also wore it to Genlux magazine's issue release party featuring Erika Christensen, and suddenly, it was like the universe was rearranging itself to revolve around yellow polish.
It's not a nail trend that will work for everyone — those of us with olive skin tones should steer clear 'cause it can make our skin look green, for instance. But if you're into highlighter-esque nails, this is your moment. The color Beyoncé was wearing, according to manicurist Lisa Logan, was Nars 15 Minutes. But you can also give L'Oreal's sheer Bananarama Love a try if you'd like a softer look — if you can still find it, that is. The fun color was a limited edition for summer!

Not quite sure why so many posters are so angry over some celebrity's nail color. If you don't like yellow, don't wear it. Pretty easy to sort out. A good rule of thumb (pardon the pun) - if you can't wear a certain color when it comes to clothing, it's not going to compliment your hands. No sense in getting upset about it.
