BCBG shows us 4 new and sexy ways to wear a men's shirt
Take the traditional work shirt and up the sexy factor.
This morning, Nikki gave us behind-the-scenes access to the model fittings for BCBG's show. Now, let's take a look at the clothes that came down the runway.
The first part of the show was all about showing a sexy new way for women to wear a men's shirt. But I'm not talking about your run-of-the-mill collared number. These dresses and tops were deconstructed to take the traditional work shirt and up the sexy factor.

Lubov Azria, chief creative officer at BCBG Max Azria Group, said the design process started nine months ago, when she opened up the brand's archives for inspiration. "I realized it's not about those pieces but about the whole process," she told me after the show. "I wanted to show new proportions and take that men's shirt apart and then put it back together. I think it's an empowering look for women."
She decided to go with neutral colors and even included crop tops (there have been a ton of bare midriffs on the spring 2014 runways and it's only day one!).

Lubov said these looks are for the woman who is at the forefront of fashion. Do you agree? Would you like to try one of these menswear-inspired pieces on?

I don't like any of these. J G...just put his shirt on over a cami and tie it at the waist. I am of course assuming that his shirts will be big on you. If you are petite and he's tall just put the shirt on over leggings and belt it like a tunic. Totally cute and comfy.
I think the second one is fab. Love the way the drop down from shoulder is like a vertical epaulet, evoking an almost military-ish look- good balance on the theme.
