Need a few outfit ideas to inspire you when it comes to colored denim? Here are six chic combos anyone can pull off (with stuff you already have in your closet!)...

RED JEANS: These just may be the easiest to wear, because red looks good with tons of other colors. We love pairing ours with a classic nautical striped top--it's perfect for warm weather!

PURPLE JEANS: Cool colors always look good together, so pair your lavender with regular old denim (like this Chictopia poster did!). A chambray shirt or jean jacket is a sure thing.

YELLOW JEANS: The key to this tricky color is going super-preppy. A bold turquoise (or any shade of blue) top is a gorgeous complement, as is a multi-colored ribbon belt. If you're more low-key, opt for navy. And warning: Pairing yellow with black has a definite bumble bee effect!

PINK JEANS: You know what black does look amazing with? Pink! The combo is classic French girl fabulous, and it can be as simple as a T and pumps, like you see here (chances are you have those already, right?).

GREEN JEANS: This Pinterest user nailed the green jeans thing--it's best to keep 'em basic with a white top and some fabulous accessories. Of course, this simple combo works with any of the hot-hued denim on this page.

ORANGE JEANS: You need to neutralize this very-attention-getting color with something subtle--and gray is the perfect contrast. A collared shirt and crewneck sweater, also spotted on Pinterest, tone things down just enough to make this wearable.

What do you dolls think of these hot combos? Aren't you suddenly feeling inspired to wear your colored denim in bold new ways? Which one is your favorite? Discuss!

Why did you cut Ashley Madekwe's head off of the picture with the green jeans? And why don't I see credit for the picture anywhere?! http://ashley-ringmybell.blogspot.com/2012/01/longevity.html !! Plus, her blog is pretty good and she has a lot of cute ways to wear lots of colored jeans!

Personally, I wasn't impressed with many of these combos.  But then, It never occurred to me that you could look "silly" with colored jeans, either.  And most of these jeans don't look like jeans.  The way the hang on the models, they look like stretch pants.  Ugh!

completely useless for the majority of american women. sure we would all love to be a size 0 (or even a size 2, gasp!) but most of us aren't. the models look great but the exact same outfit on pretty much anyone else would not look the same.

Duh! they are talking about the colors not the style per say. Not everyone looks good in skinny jeans. You can find these colors in straight legged jeans/ classic fit or even capris. The point is, pair these colors together instead of the basic neutrals of black blue, or white. People get real > ADD SOME COLOR TO YOUR WARDROBE!
