Rihanna wears strange jeans from her collection for River Island
Would you wear double top denim like Rihanna?
The concept of denim on denim has officially been taken to a new level. Rihanna wore a pair jeans in London this week, and we couldn’t help but do a double take (pun intended).

The singer wore this interesting pair of jeans out to an event, which actually came from her own line from British clothing line River Island. But when you look closely, you realize that this is not one, but two pairs of jeans stuffed into one pant. Odd? Yes. Sloppy-looking? Perhaps. Fashionable? We’re just not sure.

The Rihanna Double Top Straight Jean, available on the company’s web site, is apparently the hottest new trend in denim. "We're seeing double with this cool take on mixing denim! With a huge spring trend ready-made, these double top jeans have an innovative spin on casual dressing," says the brand on their web site. Yes, they’re better than drop crotch denim and some of the other strange trends we’ve seen in jeans, but we’re not sure what to think about them—or the price (they cost $150, by the way). Yet again, Rihanna somehow makes them look cool and fashionable. Sigh.

The best swimsuit for your body type—yes, yours!
When morning talk shows and local newspapers dole out their seasonal swimsuit shopping advice, I’m usually pretty disappointed by the lack of body types represented. What about the women who don’t resemble fruit? (Or aren’t boy-shaped—the third “one of these things is not like the other” category I’ve never quite understood. Couldn’t they say “banana?” Or is that somehow more offensive than “apple” and “pear” shapes?)
