Rihanna’s See-Through Top: Sassy or Trashy?

By Kim Anne Mar 13, 2012 9:37PM

Rihanna is no stranger to making a fashion statement—she’s always rocking a new and different look. But this week, she created quite a lot of buzz this week when she appeared to have left her house without an essential layer.

The 24-year-old left little to the imagination for her trip to New York Italian restaurant Da Silvano. When she debuted a see-through mesh top that exposed—well, everything. She paired the racy shirt with baggy ripped jeans and boots.

This certainly isn’t the first time the singer has drawn attention to herself with her outfit, but her recent ensemble, which is dangerously close to wearing no top at all, is taking things to a whole new level.

Then again, maybe she was just trying to make a new fashion statement. And if she had just worn a bra, her look would be no different than the current fashion trend of wearing dark bras with light-colored tops like Sara Jessica Parker.

Tell us on Facebook: Is Rihanna’s look sassy or just plain trashy?

That's actually the same disease Chris Griffin has where you grow peperonis all over your body.  This is serious.

Shes hot. Sassy, 4 sure. Bold, and making a statement. She pulled it off, well. I love the look.

@ Anon E Muss. first of all the fact that you took time to post every flaw in this article tells me you need a hobby. Secondly the article is still well written and a redundant sentence doesn't take anything away from the read.

So good job Kim Anne. Haters Gona Hate

The author REALLY, REALLY needs to have someone proofread her "articles" before she publishes them.  " But this week, she created quite a lot of buzz this week" is redundant.  And I'm sure " Sara Jessica Parker" would be pissed that the "h" is missing from the end of "Sara."  Oh well.  The author probably thinks that "grammar" is your mom or dad's mother.  Thumbs down

Long story short, women should respect themselves and respect other women so that man in turn can see this and begin to treat us as equals.  As long as women put their body out before they put the brains, personality, and spiritual side men will exploit women to pad their pockets and the vicious cycle goes around and around.  Not a hater just a realist.

I think it is trashy and that if I was a policeman, I would Arrest her and she would have to change what she was wearing
