January Jones may have rocked a trendy look at the SAG Awards on Sunday, but behind all that hair product, the actress says there’s not much left on her coif.

According to People.com the star, who has gone back and forth quite frequently from blonde to brunette, red and even pink, says her hair is more than a little damaged from all that coloring.

“I have been every color and now my hair is falling out in clumps,” she tells Grazia Daily via People.com. “I’m going to have to shave it off and wear a wig.”

The star, who has dyed her hair for various rolls including going deep brown to play Betty Draper on ‘Mad Men.’ says she’s changed colors so many times, sometimes people don’t even recognize her. “I was suddenly invisible,” she says of first dying her hair brunette. “Not just as a celebrity, but to my friends and family. I was like, ‘Come on you guys, it’s me!’” But of all the colors she’s dyed her tresses, she’s a fan of herself with blonde hair the most. “My son recognizes me in photos when I am blonde. He says ‘mama.’”

didn't mean to sound so bitter-sorry if I offended anyone-but I would have more respect for just someone like us who had this situation instead of just the famous & their issues-we all go thru different types of despair, pain & sickness but we don't feel the need to share with the entire world-again sorry if I offended anyone- & laanelson thank you & my recovery is very slow but everyday is better, as I hope yours is-

Versus, there is no need to be rude.  All actors change their hair color.  If they take your advice, everyone would be in wig.  You sound incredibly judgmental.  True not all actors are smart but they have many intellectuals amongst them as well.  Kind of like the real world where you and I live.   Oh and it's "grain of salt" unless you were trying to be pithy, which I seriously doubt.   Regardless, I am not so sure that this is because of haircolor but possibly due to pregnancy hormones.  Before and after giving birth.  My hair has done the same thing after my pregnancies.  Another thought is most likely her diet or her gallstones.  I know it sounds weird but my mother stopped losing her hair after her gallbladder surgery.

Why didn't she think of a wig about twenty or thirty shades ago? Actors are not very intelligent and their views should usually be taken with a box of salt.

WTF. Seriously people??? Should be "roles", not "rolls".

Our favorite platinum blondes of all time

When Madonna posted an image of herself wearing a full on Game of Thrones Khaleesi costume on Instagram last week we weren’t exactly surprised—this is the woman who rolled into the Grammy Awards wearing a tuxedo and a grill earlier this winter, so why not celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim with a leather corset and a pair of tiny dragons? Still, we were hypnotized by her white-blonde, braided Daenerys Targaryen hair. Functioning as a bleached out cultural weather vane of sorts, it tapped into multiple obsessions at once—the return of "Game of Thrones" to HBO, spring’s new extreme hair lengths and, most notably, fashion’s current platinum mania. Our own love of ice-blonde hair—which transforms any look from everyday to extraordinary—has been well documented of late, but last night’s Game of Thrones premiere sent our platinum fever into overdrive. In celebration of fashion’s favorite hair color, a look at the best platinum moments in history.
