Runway trend alert: Leather sweatpants!

Would you wear them?

Leather sweatpants were spotted on the runways at Christian Siriano, Charlotte Ronson and J Brand, among other designers, making this look one to watch for fall. The question is: will you buy them? I know I will. These slouchy-looking leather trouser pants will break up my wardrobe of skinny jeans and give me a reason to take my booties out of closet hibernation. Photos: Courtesy of Glamour

This model was the first to hit the runway at Christian Siriano and she made a big statement. Also, those booties are from Payless (which means you will soon be able to buy designer shoes at totally affordable prices!)

Head-to-toe leather! If any designer was going to embrace this trend, it would be Charlotte Ronson, the go-to designer for all the downtown cool kids.

J Brand, the home of my favorite skinny jeans, is mixing it up with this leather look.

Will you try leather sweatpants? Which pair do you like best?

Leather sweats - when I look at them I wanna rave in them, when I think about them I wanna go to sleep.

This is hilarious.  Just a couple weeks ago one of these "fashion disasters" columns tore up Lindsay Lohan for being spotted wearing leather sweatpants and booties with a warm jacket at JFK Airport.  Now here it is, being called the latest "on trend" look.  That didn't take long!
