The question is: Who will buy it?

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's high fashion line, The Row, has created 12 limited-edition black patent crocodile leather backpacks (covered with prescription pills) that are going for the crazy, over-the-top price of $55,000 APIECE! At this moment, I'm guessing that like me, you're rubbing your eyes in disbelief...

The sister duo has teamed up with artist Damien Hirst on this fashion/art project, according to Refinery29. You can check out a video of all 12 bags (and no, at that price they are even not diamond encrusted).

If you're still curious, check out these backpacks on Just One Eye's Web site. (Note: A portion of each sale to benefit UNICEF.)

If you had the money, would you ever consider buying a bag like this? Who will be the first celebrity to show up to a party with one of these?

why wouldn't they use their ill-gotten riches for something good in the world besides an obnoxious handbag.!!!  Some people are just so shallow and egocentric.. They were ugly twins as little girls and have gotten even uglier with their greedy, snobbish personalities. Too bad people like that have to exist in our world.

how about you 2 gold spoon fed twins spend UR time helping people in need versus catering to the 2% who would even consider to purchase such a outlandish piece of CRAP!

Those little bitches need to be drop kicked in the **** just for the fact that they are both to rich for doing nothing in their lives. As far as I'm concerned you can lock those two little bitches away for the rest of their lives and nobody would miss them.

very poor taste considering they are both alleged pill poppers.  glamorizing an addiction?  quite possibly
