Women plan Saturday night outfits by Wednesday afternoons, says new poll

Perhaps it’s the fact that we all want something to look forward to each week, or maybe it’s the fact that we are just looking for something to preoccupy us from the lull of the beginning of each work week. But come Wednesday, like clockwork, we’re already thinking about what we’re going to wear the following weekend.

According to a new study, women have already begun planning their Saturday night out by 1:35 pm on Wednesday afternoons.
The poll, which surveyed 2,000 women, was commissioned by New Look and found that three quarters of females discuss their outfit choices with their friends before the big night out, and the planning on average involves ten text messages, three emails, five phone calls, eight posts on Facebook and three tweets, says Digital Hub.

In addition to the barrage of coordinating with friends, the average woman also spends close to 2 hours online to research her outfit, looking up everything from what the weather is going to be like to what kind of ensembles are trendy.
