Bieber brings back the bowl cut
Justin Bieber makes an appearance at NY Fashion Week with his signature hairstyle.
We all watched pop sensation Justin Bieber rise to fame with that signature bowl-cut hair (which, by the way, seems like an eternity ago). But until recently, the Biebs was attempting to shed himself of that signature image by replacing those boyish locks with an edgy spiked ‘do, no doubt the result of some seriously tacky hair product usage — but we digress.
Now, Justin is channeling his boyish charm by bringing back his old hairstyle — during New York Fashion Week, no less.

According to the Huffington Post, JB attended the Y-3 Meaningless Excitement show at New York Fashion Week accessorized with a “giant pair of shades and miniature mustache,” said the reports, and his hair was styled back into the bowl-cut ‘do that is so strongly associated with his past. Yes, the bowl cut is back in style.

No word as to how long he’ll keep this retro ‘do or how many Bieber wannabes will flock to the nearest salon to mimic his new, old style.

To get the scoop on quick office party beauty tricks, we turned to Landy Dean, celebrity makeup artist at Marie Robinson salon. His simple tutorial requires only a handful of products, starting with the darkest, inkiest eyeliner you can find. Dean swears by the Nars Larger Than Life liners smudged over the waterline and lashline, topped off with a few coats of Maybelline The Falsies mascara. Before you dash off to apply product, there’s one small step that involves removing makeup. “If your foundation and concealer have caked or creased, I recommend a quick removal with a cleansing towelette and a redo to avoid heavy looking skin,” he cautions. For those who would prefer to go the easy route, apply a hydrating moisturizer using a stippling motion and a sponge. Finish the look with a dusting of BareMinerals Mineral Veil—“this will even out discolorations and give a reflective finish that still looks natural”—swap your work bag for a chic clutch, and get ready to ring in the season.
