Life can definitely be stressful. And due to varying factors that contribute to stress levels in women’s daily lives, it makes us all look older at a certain time each week.

According to a new study, women look their oldest at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons. At this (very) specific time, energy levels plummet, work stress is at a peak and the effects of any weekend late nights finally kick in, reports the Daily Mail.

'It's fascinating that 3.30pm on a Wednesday is the time women look their oldest,” said Nichola Joss, from tanning brand St. Tropez, the company that conducted the study. “Combine the highest stress levels of the week on a Wednesday with the natural mid-afternoon slump and it seems that's why women can look older than their years.” But it’s only temporary-- by Thursday, most women are feeling better, which leads to the study’s other findings—that women are most likely to want to have sex this day of the week. “As the mid-week slump passes and stress levels begin to decrease, it's fascinating that Thursday is the evening they are most likely to feel amorous.”
