Victoria's Secret models were paid HOW MUCH last year? Sigh...

See who topped the list.

By Glamour Magazine Jan 29, 2013 3:20PM
In addition to wearing some pretty gorgeous lingerie AND flying to tropical locations to shoot those catalogues, Victoria's Secret Angels made a boat load of money last year for their modeling efforts. Six of the 10 highest paid models in 2012, according to Forbes, work for Victoria's Secret!

Former Angel Gisele Bundchen topped the list with $45 million in 2012. WWD reports that fellow Angels Adriana Lima made $7.3 million and Doutzen Kroes took home $6.9 million. Alessandra Ambrosio earned $6.6 million and street style star Miranda Kerr banked $4 million. Candice Swanepoel rounded out the top 10 with $3.1 million.Photo: Getty Images

“Becoming an Angel significantly increases a model’s earning potential due to their visibility around the world,” Richard Habberley at DNA Model Management, which represents Ambrosio and Kroes told WWD. “It changes the girls’ careers completely.”

Carole White, founder of Premier Model Management in London, said, “It was the most massive thing that could have happened to Miranda Kerr. It made her name. Who had heard of her before Victoria’s Secret? They are great at taking a girl — a good-looking model, but a catalogue model — and launching her into the stratosphere. It’s like a modeling medal.”
