Murphy recommends rosy pinks for fair skin, corals for fair-to-medium, russet and terra-cotta shades for medium-to-tan, and blushes with hints of plum for darker tones. Line the top and bottom lash lines with black eyeliner, and smudge with a Q-tip or your finger. "For this look, you don't want to blend the color up to the brow bone," says Murphy. Keep it to the lids and inner corners only. "This makes it sophisticated instead of junior high." Murphy also suggests defining the eyes with a brown shadow blended into the outer corners and crease to enhance their shape.
