To achieve this look, all you have to do is apply three coats of OPI "You Don't Know Jacques Matte," pictured here, or any other polish from the OPI matte collection. For this manicure, using a top coat would ruin the matte look and make your nails look shiny. You can, however, use a matte top coat, which can also be found at OPI.

Apply one coat of China Glaze "Phat Santa," followed by a coat of Dare to Wear "Disco Ball" once it's dry. Finish with another coat of China Glaze "Phat Santa" and a top coat.

Apply page reinforcements to the base of your nail bed. Paint two coats of the color of your choice. Remove the page reinforcements once the polish is dry and apply a top coat. For a feminine sparkle, use a glitter striping brush to line the edge of the moon.

Paint your nails with a color of your choice. Punch out shapes in masking or painter's tape using a hole puncher (you can find hole punchers with fun shapes at CVS or the Dollar Store). Make sure your manicure is dry and then attach tape firmly and apply a different colored polish. Peel off tape gently and slowly. Once it is dry apply a top coat.

Choose five polishes that are similar in color but vary in saturation -- similar to how a paint swatch looks. Listed from thumb to pinky, the polishes are OPI "Step Right Up," Essie "Fiji," Essie "Raise Awareness," China Glaze "Dance Baby," and OPI "Shorts Story."

Start with an opaque, pigmented pastel (pictured here is Essie "Navigate Her"). Add one layer of a chunky multi-colored glitter (pictured here is Milani "Gems"). Top with one of two coats of a sheer milky polish (OPI "So Many Clowns...So Little Time"). This manicure will take a bit longer to dry because of all the layers.

Use Zoya "Monica" as a base coat and layer with Zoya "Daul" on top of the accent nail once the base coat is dry. Finish with a top coat.

Start by shaping nails carefully (the design is simple, so symmetry and neatness are important). Apply a clear or milky base coat to all ten nails. Using a burgundy or wine polish (try Illamasqua "Unnatural") make one stroke down the center of the nail, leaving a gap at the cuticle. Use two more strokes to create an area of polish which mimics the shape of your nail, and leaves a space around the entire cuticle area. Repeat on other nails, and go back with more polish for a second coat to make sure all polished areas are opaque. Allow each nail to dry for two minutes and seal with a top coat, and then apply cuticle oil.
