Looks guys love (and hate)

We created a manel (as in: man panel), fed the dudes some beers, then asked them to react to the biggest beauty trends. Their uncensored thoughts…

Mask a mangled tip with a glitter French insta-mani. "Choose a dense sparkle polish with a base color (not clear!) for best coverage," says Jin Soon Choi, a manicurist in New York City. Tone-on-tone is the chicest, she says, so if you have blue nails, paint blue glitter along each edge. Polish recs: Revlon and Deborah Lippmann do shine the best. Not Halle Berry?

A pixie is tough to pull off. You need model bone structure—and balls. Try the "everyone cut"; hair that hits just below the collarbone is really flattering, says Beverly Hills hairstylist Adam Campbell. Whether you're short or tall, it creates visual balance.

Dont beleive it ladies,  they grab two guys from the mail room and tell you we all think the same way,  sounds like these guys like what they (and "redbundy13") have been trained to like:  long blond hair, giant ta-ta's,  and a 17 inch waistline (oh, and in a bikini of course).  It's more about confidence..  these girls look good because they feel good about how they look.  Short hair can look outstanding and sexy, straight, slick hair can be phenomenal, natural hair color or highlights almost always look good (in my opinion of course),  the one thing the 'panel' did get right is makeup, less is usually better.  Personally its about uniqueness to me...  and lets face it,  when is the last time women listened to us guys about style (or most anything else) anyway?

I had a pixie cut for over a year and my man loved it! He always wants me to cut it short again, and I know one of my male friends likes women with short hair too. Sounds like this "manel" was full of super-shallow, stereotypical douches. Women- do whatever makes YOU feel beautiful and confident and men won't care! They will just see a woman who is happy and confident, and that is what they will be attracted to! My boyfriend didn't like women with nose rings until he met me and he thinks I totally rock it and that it is super cute. Don't listen to the crap in this article!

Very simple ladies: Red lips, full eyebrows, hair with some body.

Lips - I would doubt there is a man on the planet outside of the necrophiliacs, who prefer pale lips. It's your little trend, and generally men hate it.

Eyebrows - Most women pluck their eyebrows too much...usually a big mistake; most men find strong eyebrows sexy. Very LITTLE managing necessary.

Hair - This ultra straight, limp hair thing is a major turn-off for most men; totally do not get it!!

So, you introduce the article with one gender stereotype ("we got some guys and loaded them up with beer,") before then expounding on more gender stereotypes and giving advice based thereon.

There is no standard of beauty, attractiveness, etc. There is no sure fire way to attract "men" because there's no such thing as an abstract group called "men." There are only individuals. Be yourself, and you will attract an individual who likes YOU, rather than the product you create to try to attract "men."

Didn't they just come to the conclusion that NO guys like short hair? Than why on the next pic are they telling women how to "pull off" the Pixie cut? That, right there, that damn pixie cut is the reason I read this survey. I needed to tell these people that think it is possible to pull off this look that they ARE COMPLETELY WRONG!! Trust me, any guy who's dating a little boy, oops... I mean girl with that HAIR CUT is wishing that they'll tire of that look and go back to looking like a woman again. TRUST ME, SHORT HAIR NEVER WORKS, ON ANYONE!! They will ALWAYS look better with long hair...

Long hair!! That's it, I would never, NEVER date a woman with short hair!! I absolutely HATE that look on women. Why then do so many women wear their hair short? They must not care is my guess...
