Hair Makeover Makeup Tips
To White Blonde
Like Miley Cyrus, you clearly love to make a statement. "You're not afraid to permanently accessorize -- so go bold or go home," says Dara Klein, the celebrity makeup artist of Daramascara, LLC New York City.
Klein suggests creating drama by playing up your eyes or lips, just be sure to keep it pretty in pink. Try a soft grey matte shadow, a baby doll pink cheek, and a pop of even brighter fuschia on your lips.

To Honey Blonde
"Bronzer is a must for this new beachy-colored hair," says Klein. "It helps find a balance between natural and sun-kissed." It will also define cheek bones and warm up your skin, a la Julia Roberts.
Stick with softer shades of shadow and eyeliner in brown. You want to find "something that warms the eye without too much drama overpowering the brightness of your new highlights."

If you're a new brunette (like Cameron Diaz many a time) Taylor Chang Babaian, the celebrity makeup artist behind Style Eyes, says to be sure your makeup contrasts with your skin. "Add pops of color so you don't get lost in all that hair."
But as opposed to playing up one feature, try to harmonize your eyes, cheeks, and lips. Go for gold and bronze shadows to reflect your new hair color and illuminate your eyes, while using a pink and peach blend on the cheeks and a neutral mauve on the lips.

It may be surprising to some, but Emma Stone is actually a natural blonde. But she plays the redhead part so right (often wearing cherry lips and green and purple shadows) that no one would ever know.
"I love redheads with a bright red lip and soft neutral pink cheeks," says Chang Babaian. "If you have freckles avoid choosing colors that are too warm (think terracotta or brown) because they can make your face look orange. I also find faux redheads need a little more warmth in their brows."

"Black hair can give you an edgy harder look," says Chang Babaian. This may be be exactly what you are going for -- it definitely was for Evan Rachel Wood -- but she suggests to soften it up (and avoid looking anemic) with a pale pink cheek.
"If you have light brows make sure to go darker and add some ash," says Babaian. Also go with black eyeliner to add definition and mauve or plum lips -- avoid anything too brown.
