Ask the Experts: Get Your Hair Wet (And Love It!)

Wear a low-maintenance style like an asymmetric cut (which looks good even when it drops), or choose bangs, which will help to mask puffy edges.

3. Next, blow out using a blow-dryer with a comb attachment to straighten out the roots.

4. Finally, section by section with a flat iron (start from the back of your head and work your way forward). Try a blowout to soften and stretch hair back to its normal length.
