In her words: Today’s woman has to show that she can handle whatever is thrown her way. Women have to exceed expectations, not just meet requirements.
Fun fact: Melissa founded the Fashion 411 community in Alaska, which now has over 300 members.
Zodiac sign: Leo
Miss Arizona USA: Rachel Massie
In her words: Thanks to my upbringing, I am now independent, responsible, and goal oriented. This has led me to have a passion to serve others, pursue new experiences, and be a role model/mentor.
Fun fact: Rachel’s favorite twitter celebrity to follow is Grumpy Cat.
Wish list superpower: Ability to fly
Miss Arkansas USA: Hannah Billingsley
In her words: Instead of letting negative experiences bring me down, I use them as motivation to dream bigger and work even harder to prove just how far I can go in my life.
Fun fact: At 10 years old, Hannah took out a $6,000 loan to buy a few cow-calf pairs. Investing in her small herd of cattle allowed her to pay her way through college.
Favorite accessory: Earrings
Miss California USA: Mabelynn Capeluj
In her words: My parents have instilled strong work ethics and good values in me. I have worked hard for everything in my life and I am proud to say I did it all on my own and nothing has ever been handed to me.
Fun fact: Mabelynn was diagnosed with psoriasis at age 16 and is now a spokesperson for the National Psoriasis Foundation.
On her bucket list: Skydiving
Miss Colorado USA: Amanda Wiley
In her words: I love the performance aspect of the pageant. I thrive under pressure and I love those adrenaline-pumping moments on stage with the lights, a loud cheering audience, and feeling my most beautiful.
Fun fact: Amanda would love to meet her favorite actress, Julia Roberts, since her favorite movie is Pretty Woman.

Miss Connecticut USA: Erin Brady
In her words: Pageantry launches women forward into successful careers in business, politics, and entertainment. Building confidence, poise, interview skills, and public speaking skills, are just a sampling of the benefits of the modern pageant world.
Fun fact: Erin recently started bowling and it has become her favorite sport to play.
Weirdest thing in purse: Floss
Miss Delaware USA: Rachel Baiocco
In her words: I have learned a lot about life through other people. People make mistakes, myself included, but it's all a part of life and the human experience. You can learn and grow from any situation.
Fun fact: On a trip to the Dominican Republic with friends, Rachel went swimming with sharks on a snorkeling trip.

In her words: I believe that everyday decisions play a larger role in determining what kind of person someone is, more than extraordinary circumstances
Fun fact: Jessica made it to the top 100 on Season 10 of American Idol.
Biggest pet peeve: When people turn left from the straight-only lane
Miss Florida USA: Michelle Aguirre
In her words: Pageants have given me the opportunity to really get to know myself on a level I never knew was possible. I love that pageants have inspired me to become a better person and strive to reach my personal best.
Fun fact: Michelle recently went hand fishing and caught a 32 pound catfish with no rod or reel.
