Twilight Stars’ Best Hair and Makeup Looks

Think glowing skin, sparkling eyes and deep red lips are just for the Twilight vampires? We don’t even need Alice Cullen’s future-predicting abilities to know these gorgeous beauty moves are perfect for us humans, too! Sink your teeth into these pretty red carpet hair and makeup looks from November 2011 Glamour magazine cover star Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene and the other glam ladies of The Twilight Saga.

Twilight Beauty: Kristen Stewart’s Beachy, Tousled Hair

Kristen Stewart Next Slide

You don’t have to be a Twi-hard to want to copy Kristen Stewart’s (a.k.a. Isabella “Bella” Swan’s) beachy, wavy hairstyle. Frédéric Fekkai hairstylist Adir Abergel created this look to give it some ’60s fullness with lots of texture. To re-create the look yourself, Abergel suggests spraying Fekkai’s Oceanique all over the hair before blow-drying to give it wave. (Hint: Skip the brush and just use your hands to tousle.) Use a 1-inch iron and curl in different directions, “then scrunch the hair with a paper towel to remove excess moisture,” says Abergel. This extra step helps make sure the waves stay put all night long—even into the dawn.

Twilight Beauty: Christian Serratos’ Sparkly Barrette

Previous Slide Christian Serratos Next Slide

Perhaps Christian Serratos, who plays Bella’s (human) friend, Angela, in Twilight, New Méoon and Eclipse, will show up for Bella and Edward’s wedding in Breaking Dawn with this easy but totally gorgeous braided hairdo. Just create a simple one-inch braid to your ear and secure the ‘do with a small, sparkly barrette to make the look extra special.

Twilight Beauty: Ashley Greene’s Glossy Curls

Previous Slide Ashley Greene Next Slide

Ashley Greene (who plays Alice, Edward’s future-seeing sis, in the series) might be known for her cute flipped bob in the movie, but we’re obsessed over her long, shiny curls offscreen. Before you curl your hair with a one-inch iron, try spritzing Fekkai’s Coiff Bouffant. “It’s not too sticky and works with all hair colors and textures. Plus, it’s so easy to blow-dry with it,” says Abergel. Then follow the highest part of your eyebrow arch to copy Ashley’s deep side part and tuck back the bangs by crisscrossing two bobby pins. A spritz of Moroccanoil Gold Glimmer Shine Spray helps give that extra boost of pretty glossiness.

Twilight Beauty: Nikki Reed’s French Side Braid

Previous Slide Nikki Reed Next Slide

Nikki Reed took a cue from her vampire character, Rosalie Hale, with this retro and romantic braided updo that’s ueber-easy to copy. All you need to do is create a deep part, French-braid one side and secure into a bun. Gently tug at random sections of the braid for a not-too-perfect feel.

Twilight Beauty: Ashley Greene’s Plum Lipstick

Previous Slide Ashley Greene Next Slide

No need to sink your teeth into someone to get the berry, bitten-lip look. Just swipe on an autumn-perfect lip stain like DuWop’s Pure Venom Berry. “Whenever you are going to go vampy on the lips, keep the eyes neutral so that the lips really make the statement,” says DuWop’s makeup artist, Jason Garner.

Twilight Beauty: Anna Kendrick’s Rosy Cheeks

Previous Slide Anna Kendrick Next Slide

Anna Kendrick (Forks High’s gossipy valedictorian, Jessica) proves that a full moon doesn’t have to shine in your face to get a little glow. We love Nars’ Highlighting Blush in New Order, which combines the right amount of glimmer with a touch of pink color for your cheeks.

Twilight Beauty: Nikki Reed’s Cute Fishtail Braid

Previous Slide Nikki Reed Next Slide

To add something special to a loose, wavy updo, sneak it a tiny fishtail braid (or fake it with a braided headband that matches your hair color) like Nikki Reed did here. Paired with dewy skin and tons of mascara, this natural-looking beauty move has a soft boho feel.

Twilight Beauty: Kristen Stewart’s Subtle Smoky Eye

Previous Slide Kristen Stewart Next Slide

There are a couple ways to lure someone in with your eyes. One is to practice Bella’s tantalizing stare in Twilight in the mirror all day. Or you could steal this sexy smoky eye makeup look by using a shimmery charcoal eyeshadow and blending it into the crease of your eyelids. Take an angled eyeshadow brush to dab shadow onto the button lash line, too. “Brighten the eyes by applying DuWop’s Doubleglow7 to the inner corner of the eyes and through the brow bone. This highlighter gives the eyes a nice sheen,” suggests Garner.

Twilight Beauty: Christian Serratos’ Glittery Eyeshadow

Previous Slide Christian Serratos Next Slide

Your eyes will twinkle in the moonlight with a little help from shimmery eyeshadow. Pick a universally flattering matte color like brown or beige to brush all across the lid as a base, and use a sparkly light golden metallic color on the inner corners of your eye and about of the way across the rest of the lid. For a glowly look like Christian Serratos’ try Maybelline’s Eye Studio Color Plush Silk Eye Shadow in Sunset Seduction for an all-in-one palette that you can easily tuck in your bag.

Twilight Beauty: Nikki Reed’s Bronzy Glow

Previous Slide Nikki Reed Next Slide

The pale vampire look may be a sexy style for her on-screen adopted brother, Edward (played by cutie Robert Pattinson), but we’re digging the sun-kissed skin Nikki Reed has in real life. For a pretty insta-glow, use a large powder brush to dust powder bronzer onto the apples of your cheeks and sweep across your forehead, then down your nose.
