Sienna Miller's gossamer pink lipstick
"I wanted the makeup to look very fresh, young, and effortless," said her makeup artist Patti Dubroff, who opted for Chanel's Rouge Allure in Gracile ($34; chanel.com). "The dress has a very airy, floral vibe so the makeup feels like a summer day."
Emily Blunt's vibrant red lip
At first glance, Emily Blunt’s bright red lipstick at the Critic's Choice Awards may seem like a tried-and-true crimson, but the faint pink tones give her retro look a current edge. "Once I saw the Miu Miu dress Emily was wearing, my inspiration became a modern Veronica Lake," said her makeup artist Jenn Streicher, who used Armani's Lip Maestro in #503.

Kristen Stewart's petal pink lip color
We loved the sheer finish of Kristen Stewart's lipstick, and how it didn't distract from the risky ensemble she wore to On the Road's New York City premiere. "I wanted to create a sexy cat eye that was a bit '60s, and modernize it with a soft pink lip," said her makeup artist Beau Nelson, who used a combo of the Chanel Lip Definer in Pink Sugar and Rouge Coco Sheer Lipshine in Parfait on the star. Nelson traced Stewart's lips with the pencil, then carefully blended the color and layered the airy pink balm on top.

Rose Byrne's shimmery nude lipstick
“We wanted to enhance Rose’s natural tones with a soft, effortless look that would complement the beautiful vintage dress she was wearing,” said Byrne's makeup artist Hung Vanngo, who used CK One’s lipstick in Braniac, a rosy neutral with a touch of shimmer. “This shade is a great choice for those who love a nude lip, but still want to have a hint of peach and pink.”

Anne Hathaway's deep wine lipstick
For the New York City premiere of Les Miserables Hathaway's makeup artist Kate Lee mixed three different hues for a custom bordeaux shade. "I started out with Chanel’s Rouge Allure Intense Lip Color in Rouge Noir, a deep plum. I then added the raspberry-toned Rouge Allure Velvet Matte Lip Colour in La Somptuese." A touch of Chanel's shiny magenta lipstick in Palpitane brightened the dark aubergine base, and made it less severe.

Lucy Hale's sheer coral lipstick
"I decided to do a subtle match with Lucy's makeup to her gorgeous orange top," said her makeup artist Nick Barose, who used Sephora's Color Lip Last in Go For Pink. "I dabbed the product on directly from the tube, blotted it to keep it sheer, then added a similar-toned coral gloss."

Ashley Greene's shiny pink lip
“Ashley wore a very romantic, pale blush Donna Karan gown and jewels from Bulgari. I wanted to continue this feeling with her makeup,” said makeup artist Vanessa Scali, who used a combination of the mark. Make It Rich Lip Color Crayon in Naturally ($11) and the In a Whirl Marbelized Lip Gloss in Pink Souffle ($8) on the star. “I went with smudgy lines, soft colors, glowing skin, and loads of flirty lashes.”

Amy Adams's ballerina pink lipstick
