"I went for old school Hollywood style with a modern twist," John Frieda celebrity hairstylist Harry Josh said of Rose Byrne's waves. "The shape and silhouette are classic, but I roughed it up and loosened the waves to make the look less uptight." To add polish and sparkle, Josh created a pin-straight part and clipped back her soft, tousled locks with a floral diamond brooch from Neil Lane.

Angelina Jolie's dress wasn't the only thing that sparkled on the red carpet. Known for her seductive lips, Jolie kept her plump pout glossed with Chantecaille's Brilliant Gloss in Love.

Dianna Agron channeled her inner screen siren with cascading loose waves and rose lips. Hairstylist Danilo wanted to create a classic style that looked sleek but soft. "She was wearing a strapless dress, so she wanted her hair down but off her face," he told us. His solution? Clipping back one side of her hair with a crystal and diamond brooch.

"We wanted to go for something organic, young and modern," hairstylist Mark Townsend said of Lea Michele's beachy updo. After blowing hair dry, Townsend used a 1" curling iron to create piecey ringlets. He then gathered hair and pinned it back into a messy chignon, leaving out layers in the front. He finished the look with a veil of Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, and scrunched for a lived-in feel.

Christina Hendricks added color to her porcelain skin with a tomato lip shade and deep pink cheeks. To fake a natural flush, makeup artist Vanessa Scali used Shu Uemura Satin Radiant Blush Stick for a rosy, translucent shimmer.

Inspired by Emma Stone's sherbet dress, makeup artist Mai Quynh chose similar tones for her face palette. While keeping the rest of Stone's makeup fairly minimal, Quynh focused on the star's peepers, lining the upper lids with a creamy pencil. "I defined her eyes and created golden, dewy skin," Quynh said. For her lips? "It's mark Lipclick Full Color Lipstick in Bare Hug—an absolute must-have nude!"

Zooey Deschanel did not disappoint when it came to turning heads on the red carpet. She stepped out flaunting a new 'do, a back-baring dress and—our favorite—black and white tuxedo manicured nails! "I am wearing a gown but my nails are wearing tuxedos!!!" she tweeted.
