Oregon Wedding
A passion for Latin foods and music combined with a love of the Pacific Northwest inspired Andrea Rutledge and Dennis Haupt to wed outdoors in a flurry of vibrant color.

Andrea and Dennis at Wedding
When the couple met in 2002, the attraction was instant. "We were introduced at a party, and by the end of the night, we'd made our first date," recalls Andrea Haupt, a photostylist, who took her husband's name. She and Dennis knew they wanted to throw a party guests would remember forever.
David Hill Vineyard & Winery
The couple were married in a small ceremony in Oregon at Portland's Rose Gardens before heading to a vineyard in the Willamette Valley for dinner and dancing.
David Hill Vineyard
Sweeping rows of grapes at the David Hill Vineyard & Winery offered a buccolic setting near the city. Though it grew chilly, guests didn't seem to notice, thanks to an exuberant Latin band that kept the dance floor crowded.
Bridal Bouquet and Champagne
Sweet and simple, the bride's fragrant bouquet incorporated roses, tuberose, and dahlias.

Three Generations
Dressed in bright hues, Andrea's cousin Rachel, her mother, Victoria Shepard, and grandmother Ruby enjoyed the last light.
Bouquet Fastened to Arm
Bridesmaids carried fans, so bouquets of dahlias and roses were fastened to arms or tucked into dresses to free their hands.
Hypericum Berries and Boutonnieres
Hypericum berries lent pop and dimension to the boutonnieres.
Table Setting at Wedding
Favors served as place cards and added a touch of color to the simple table setting.
Wedding Stationery
Stationery unites a wedding's theme and offers guests a hint of what's to come. Andrea's love of the labels on Cuban cigar boxes inspired the look. Letterpress designers Brady Vest and Lindsay Laricks of Hammerpress, in Kansas City, Mo., took the theme and ran with it, borrowing the fonts and exaggerating the palette to complement the wedding theme.
