Couple weds on water skis
Donning their wedding attire, one adventurous couple married on the water.
Canadian couple Cam Auge and Caylee Wasilenko tied the knot this Wednesday. Romantic, but not terribly out of the ordinary. Oh, right — except for the fact that they sealed the deal while waterskiing.
“My mom’s biggest fear was that I was going to drown in the dress, because once it got wet it would be 50 pounds and it would drag me to the bottom,” said the bride, who donned her sister’s $1,600 wedding dress. “So, I put a life jacket underneath the dress to make her happy.”

The couple exchanged vows on the dock of the Vancouver Waterski Club, but when it came time to kiss the bride, they took to the water.
Cam and Caylee met six years ago while lapping the pool at the University of British Columbia. The wedding included just seven people because, according to Wasilenko, they “didn’t want to make a big deal” out of it.

Her now-husband added:
“We wanted (to do) something special because we’re both very creative and we just wanted something we could remember and show our kids.”
