Poll: Top 5 airports for dating
If you're single, airport dating might make layovers a little more bearable.
Back in November, we discussed airport dating — a new trend that involves singles mingling during their layovers. Now, the site that facilitates such meet-ups, MeetAtTheAirport.com, has surveyed its 60,000 members to reveal the top five airports for romance.

Orlando International Airport (MCO): Among other factors, respondents considered airport size, restaurant and bar options, and weather. Orlando topped the list. With 54 restaurants and bars, there are plenty of spots for singles, and the airport's on-time departure rate is between 81 and 83 percent. But the biggest reason for MCO's honor is its Hyatt Regency Hotel situated in the main terminal. "We are much more than just a place to stay before a flight," the hotel boasts.
Miami International Airport (MIA): It's no surprise that Miami made this list — Will Smith did say every day was like Mardi Gras, after all. But surprisingly, the airport has only two out of five stars on Yelp despite its large variety of bars and restaurants. Survey organizers pointed out that MIA draws an eclectic international crowd, as it's considered the gateway between the United States and Latin America.

Newark International Airport (EWR): The biggest draw of EWR is its close proximity to New York City. Like the City, there are a variety of people worth meeting at this hub.
Logan International Airport (BOS): With Boston's blizzards, flight delays are fairly common, giving singles plenty of time to mix. But unfortunately, the airport doesn't have many amenities conducive to mingling.
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL): With 16 bars, seven lounges and 57 restaurants, it's no wonder PHL made the list. The airport even has a magic shop — nothing to do with dating, but worth mentioning nonetheless. Survey respondents said Philadelphia International was their favorite place to meet singles due to delayed flights and friendly locals.
