As much as we love, love, looooove TV, we've always considered it to be kind of a barrier for romance to have one in your room. A previous thought indicated that it could lead to sleep disorders, decreased sex drives, and a distraction from relaxation.

But, while most experts still agree a TV in the bedroom isn't great for sleep, it might be good for your sex life.

According to a recent poll, couples who have a television set in their bedrooms report having twice as much sex as those who don't! (That's twice a week versus once a week, if you're curious.) And among those who do have a bedroom TV, 67 percent said they feel having it leads them to a healthier sex life. Nearly half have had sex while watching TV.

Why is having a TV just so darn sexy? Respondents cited a variety of reasons: Watching erotic movies, being able to have sex without missing their favorite show, doing it during a boring show, and just feeling closer because of the TV. Of course, everyone knows that "closer" just means "turned on by all the hot people of television."

What are your rules for TV in the bedroom? Have one? Don't have one? Have one but have restricted hours to have it on? Tell me what works for you!
