Crazy things celebrities have done for love
Justin Bieber's 'Titantic' date
Justin took the movie date to a whole new level! He rented out the Staples Center in L.A. so he could watch "Titantic" on a giant screen with then-GF Selena.
Nathan Sykes' stage fright
Ariana Grande is no stranger to a crowd of screaming fans, but when Nathan’s The Wanted bandmates pulled her on stage in the middle of one of their concerts, she wasn’t prepared. After she ran off stage embarrassed, Nathan put down his microphone and followed her offstage (mid-concert!!) to make sure she wasn't too upset! Even after he re-joined the band on stage, he couldn't completely focuse and kept glancing offstage to make sure Ariana was okay. Adorable!
Taylor Swift's major move
Long distance relationships are rough, even for celebrities who can afford to hop on a jet at any time. After Taylor fell head over heels for Conor Kennedy, she bought a house across the street from him in Cape Code for $4.9 million! But before she even had time to decorate, the two broke up. Yikes!
Miley Cyrus' love letter to Liam Hemsworth
Writing a letter saying you’re sorry isn’t such a wild gesture, but since it was Miley and Liam, this one went totally public! It's hard enough to admit when you might be the reason your relationship didn't work out, but Miley went one step further to save her relationship, putting her apology on paper with an actual letter (not even an email!) to Liam. Even though they ultimately didn't get back together, the apology letter did help make sure there was a bit less lingering bitterness after the split.
Louis & Liam's Ooer-the-top gifts
One Direction guys Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne say it's the "little things" they love about their girlfriends, but they expressed their love in a big way when the boys bought them cars! Louis bought his girlfriend Eleanor a Mini Cooper One D (funny Louis, we get it.) for her Sweet Sixteen, and Liam bought his GF at the time, Danielle a $60,000 Audi TT. As if they weren't already the luckiest girls on earth!
Kanye West's all-out proposal to Kim Kardashian
Proposing at a sports game isn’t totally unheard of, but Kanye went above and beyond, of course! He rented out AT&T Park in San Francisco, filled the stage with a live orchestra, Astro Turf, and 75 roman candles. When the message, “Pleeease Marry Meee!!!” flashed across the jumbotron, how could Kim say no?
Jason Derulo's pre-proposal to Jordin Sparks
Though they aren’t engaged IRL (yet), Jordin plays Jason’s fiancé in the music video for his super sweet song “Marry Me.” There’s even an impressive ring involved, about which Jason tweeted, “When the times right my ring for Jordin MAY look something like this Ha!” If the pre-proposal was this romantic, just imagine how over-the-top the real deal will be!
Kristen Stewart's public apology to Robert Pattinson
After Rob broke up with Kristen for cheating on him, she was desperate to win him back. Instead of apologizing just to him, she apologized to everyone, tearfully saying how sorry she was and how much she loved him in a public statement. It was the celebrity equivalent of standing up in the middle of the cafeteria and begging for your ex back. Kristen's public apology worked (at least for a little while)—the two got back together in time for the final "Twilight" movie premiere.
Katy Perry & Russell Brand's elaborate wedding
Katy and Russell are a classic case of how a whirlwind romance can turn into a destructive hurricane. After getting engaged, the couple got matching tattoos saying "Go With The Flow" in Sanskrit. Then, they had a luxurious wedding in India, complete with camels and elephants. But showing their love in over-the-top ways wasn't enough to keep them together.
Khloe Kardashian's pricey present for Lamar Odom
If your boyfriend won a huge game, how would you congratulate him? A big kiss? Treating him to dinner? What about buying him a $400,000 Rolls Royce? That's exactly what Khloe Kardashian did for then-boyfriend Lamar after the Lakers won the NBA championship. Talk about a big win!
