An Andy Warhol-Inspired Apartment
In the living room, midcentury modern pieces like the Kersten Horlin-Holmquist lounge chairs from Hostler Burrows, and Osvaldo Borsani's cocktail table from Lorin Marsh, mix with contemporary pieces—the Antwerp sofa from Berns Fry, the Kedan stool from Oly, and the Merritt cube table and Cornell bench, both from Jed Johnson Home. Designer Heather Moore liked the "wavy organic patterns" on the rug by Raymond Loewy from Edward Fields. Walls are Cork by Ralph Lauren Paint, in a flat/matte finish. Flowers prints by Andy Warhol.
Dining Room in Daylight
In the morning sun, the walls become less brown and more orange. Curtains in Indocina by Brochier. Painting by James Nares.
Dining Room in the Evening
At night, the color palette becomes more dramatic, lit by vintage Jens Quistgaard candlesticks for Dansk, from Antony Todd Home. Julian Chichester's Dakota dining table "has a hammered base made of polished nickel, so it shines," Moore says. Cyril dining chairs and Sussex side chairs by Oly. Nason Moretti glassware from TableArt. on Tura sideboard, made of parchment, from Lorin Marsh. Dinnerware by Rosenthal. Glassware, vase, and saltshakers by Calvin Klein.
In the entry, Fontana Arte sconces from the 1950s flank Burt Glinn's iconic photograph of Edie Sedgwick, Andy Warhol, and Chuck Wein coming out of a manhole. Concrete and metal console from R.E. Steele. Petite Kedan footstools with faux-lambswool tops from Oly. The decorative paint finish on the walls was done by Ricardo Brizola.
The kitchen — with custom cabinetry, Miele wall ovens, and Kohler's Vault sink and Karbon faucet — was designed by S. Russell Groves.
Chloe recliner by American Leather and Ralph Lauren Paint's Arrow Wood in a suede finish make the media room feel cozy. Oly's Bruno cocktail table and Pedro Friedeberg's hand chair provide the shine.
The dark geometry of the Albers bed from Jed Johnson Home helps balance all the soft lavenders and greens. Curtain, shade, and pillow fabric by Brochier. Bed linens by Calvin Klein. Hans Wegner's Papa Bear chair reproduced by Manzanares. Rug by Karastan. Gio Ponti--style desk and chair from Lorin Marsh.
When lit, the Anemone lamp — by Best & Lloyd through George Smith — is dazzling, and the master bedroom walls, in Ralph Lauren Paint's Victorian Lace, take on a pearlescent sheen. Custom shade by Blanche Field.
In the master bath, designed by Groves, Veranda Bamboo tiles by Ann Sacks are reminiscent of a fluted column and add texture to the natural palette. Loure faucet, Purist sink and vanity, and Numi toilet by Kohler. Barton ceiling light by Restoration Hardware.
