Airline offers in-flight nanny service
Etihad Airways has trained its crew at Norland College, a prestigious child-care school.
While you’d be lucky to get a bag of peanuts with many airlines, one is now offering child care. Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has teamed up with Norland College, a U.K.-based nanny school, to launch the Flying Nanny service.

In two months, 300 crew members have been trained at Norland, where they were educated in child psychology and sociology.

Donning orange aprons, Flying Nannies will keep kids busy with arts and crafts projects and magic tricks. They'll also help with other tasks, such as refilling milk bottles and providing snacks.
Aubrey Tiedt, the airline’s vice president of guest services, said in a statement:
"Flying with a young family can be a daunting task, even for the most experienced travelers, and the Flying Nanny role demonstrates our understanding of our guests' needs and our commitment to making the journey as relaxing and comfortable as possible.”

I think it's a great idea. Too many parents don't know how or don't care to entertain their
children so they wind up annoying everyone else.
The airlines recognizes that you families need to travel. You never know how kids will react being in a seat longer than an hour. The airline also realize that other passengers
should have to listen to whining kids. The airline deserve a thumbs up for trying to meet

Uh oh shoot wait a minute, this is Etihad Airways ? Never mind so just stick to the magic tricks for the children. Those of you who have ever flown on Etihad will know exactly what I mean. LMAO.
