Helicopter Taxi

Helicopter Taxi app Next Slide

If your children are into transportation and making things go, Helicopter Taxi is a must-have app. Using augmented reality, this app uses the device’s camera to create an effect of a helicopter flying across the room with your children who, of course, are always on-the-go. By moving the device around, your little pilots steer the helicopter to wherever they want it to fly, and then land on different surfaces to pick up more passengers. The graphics are crisp and strikingly real – your kids will delight in being the navigators of their very own helicopter adventures.

Scouts reject troop sponsored by gay rights group

The Utah Pride Center recently asked permission to start a troop for 10 middle-school aged children with straight troop leaders, said executive director Valerie Larabee. Many of the boys' parents had previously left Scouts or opted not to join because of their opposition to the Boy Scouts' long-standing policy excluding gays and lesbians.

As more teens have gone mobile, using their phones as an extension of themselves, hotline providers have tried to keep up. Fewer seem to operate today than in decades past. (AP Photo | Reed Saxon)

  • Now that everyone’s freezing their eggs…should you?

It’s a question more and more single women are asking. Well, Lara Naaman did it—and she has surprising advice for anyone else considering this fertility-extending option.

The top 11 ironies of motherhood

Motherhood. It’s the most amazing, most confusing journey of your life. But it also comes with its fair share of ironies. Like, oh, baby is finally sleeping through the night, but it’s in your bed. Or the fact that you just bought baby a whole new slew of pacifiers, but baby now hates his paci.

What I learned from the babyproofing pro: My home is a death trap

I thought our home was relatively safe. There’s no pool in the backyard, no loaded guns lying around, and our television has a v-chip to ensure no visitors are accidentally exposed to 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.'
