Blind lab has his own guide dog
Dog’s pal becomes his eyes.
Eddie, a 7-year-old Labrador retriever, and Milo, a 6-year-old terrier mix, have always been buddies. But last year, their owner, Wales resident Angie Baker-
Stedham, realized that Eddie was losing his eyesight.
Soon afterward, Milo took it upon himself to become the Lab’s guide dog. Now, the little dog wears bells on his collar so that Eddie can always find him — but Baker-Stedham says the two rarely leave each other’s sides.
"Milo really cares for Eddie,” she says. “He always licks his face; they sleep in the same room and spend all their time together. Without Milo, Eddie would be lost."
