I saw your original story and was so touched.

I saved my dog Kimble and his sister the Saturday before the Monday they were to be put down for being Pits.

His sister went to another loving home and I kept Kimble.

He is the most grateful and loving dog I have even known.   Kimble has been with me for 3 years now and I hope I have him as long as you had Schoep.

I believe in the "Rainbow Bridge" and he is going to spend his time away from you telling all his new friends how wonderful of a life he had with you.

So don't be too sad.

Chris

Such a beautiful friendship. You are very lucky to have had that time with him, and he with you. Sad, but inevitable. LOVED the photo of the two of you in Lake Superior. That epitomizes the love people have for their pets the world over.
