Wacky or Genius: Modesty Patches for Your Pets
by Beth Shapouri, Glamour Magazine
You guys have got to see this one. It's a product called Rear Gear for your pets, and, well, let me just show you what it does:

It covers your dog's butt hole for aesthetic reasons. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it on Jezebel.com over the weekend. They come in several designs including disco balls, air fresheners, and sheriff badges (ha!). And, crazy enough, they're actually sold out right now, so apparently there's a demand out there for them.
Of course, this brought up a lot of questions for me. What happens if your dog needs to...you know...do his business? Wouldn't your puppy just spend all his time trying to get it off his tail? And, finally, while it's amusing, is this really necessary? See, lots of questions. And so I leave it you guys to answer.
What do you think of these thingys: Wacky or genius?
