There’s good news for Biscuit, the 37-pound shelter cat we told you about earlier this week. He has a new home — with a second fat cat!

The shelter chose Ed and Lisa Pyatt, who live in Missouri. The Pyatts have experience in caring for another dieting kitty, Max, and the shelter’s staff thought it would be good for Biscuit to have a buddy.

The 4-year-old cat will head off to his new home next week, with instructions to stay on his strict diet.
